Jan Zdarsa Apple continues to work intensively on iPhone OS 4, obviously listening to feedback from test developers. Currently, there is already a third beta of iPhone OS 4 and it seems that we are slowly approaching the goal. What other little things are in the new betas?
The last beta 2 failed at all and contained a huge number of bugs. This was not common last year even with the beta version of iPhone OS 3, but the good news is that in the new beta 3 everything has been fixed and the system is once again a step faster.
In the attached video you can see the new design of iPhone OS 4 or extra fast photography. The most interesting thing is to see multitasking bar in action, which has new animations since beta version 2 and even a new design since beta version 3, which I think really worked well. Controlling the iPod application from this bar is also new inclusion of the so-called Orientation Lock, which locks the screen in a given position (known from the iPad). It is also now possible to close applications such as Safari or Phone from the multitasking bar, which was not possible before.
In the new iPhone OS4, it is also possible to put applications in directories. A novelty in the new beta is that a badge with the number of "notifications" is also displayed on the icon of this folder, where all badges from individual applications are added up.
In the new beta 4, there is also a high-quality Czech dictionary, so you may no longer turn off automatic corrections. I'm already really looking forward to the final version of the new iPhone OS 4, although at the moment I'd rather have it on the iPad than on the iPhone, but that's another story.
I have beta 1 so far (I preferred not to give beta 2, today it will be three) and both Safari and Phone can be closed from the bottom multitasking bar without any problems...

I had beta 2 available in a few hours and it went away - there were a lot of bugs. But I will definitely try the triple as soon as I get home from work :)
Is there finally a system calibration of the accelerometer added? Thanks
I didn't find it in 4.0beta3. On the iPad, the calibration is for example in the Racing HD game (?or something like that - cars now in the TOP10) but I didn't find it in the system either

The problem will most likely be in the settings of your phone. I have an iPhone OS 4 Beta 3 with Irish Vodafone and I'm fine - SMS, MMS, 3G internet included. tethering without the slightest problem.
I often turn on the VPN on my iPhone, but do I get the button to turn on the VPN on the main screen? I'm clicking through the menu... And it would be nice to have a VPN on button on the LCD screen.
Are you writing that I turn on the VPN via SBSeting? There you only turn on WiFi, 3G, but there is no turning on VNP there. So how?
