Yesterday you could read with us that Apple is doing very well in the smart watch segment. Interested in Apple Watch is higher quarter after quarter and Apple's market share is growing. In this segment, the company is number one and there is no indication that anything should change. Apple is doing similarly well in the notebook market. It is definitely not number one here, but as far as sales are concerned, the company did more than well in the last quarter. An analytical company came up with the new data TrendForce.

Worldwide MacBook sales rose 11,3% quarter-on-quarter. Of the six largest manufacturers, only HP performed better, registering an increase of 17,6%. Converted to numbers, this means that Apple sold 4,43 million MacBooks during July-September. Thanks to the increase in sales, Apple managed to leapfrog Asus, which moved to 4,3th place in the elite six with a decrease of 5%. You can see its form in the table below.

Tim Cook also talked about the fact that Apple is doing well in the Mac segment, during the last one conference call with shareholders. For the fiscal year 2017, the company made a profit of 25,8 billion dollars, which was an absolute record. The biggest interest has reportedly been in MacBook Pros, and in the case of desktops, the new iMac Pros are eagerly awaited, as well as the all-new Mac Pro, which is expected to arrive next year.
