As soon as you start the game PGA Tiger Woods 2012 prompts you to create a new profile, which cannot be recalled and is only stored on your device. First of all, you give your player a name, choose their skin color and gender. In the next step, you adjust eight pieces of clothing with three basic colors, mixing the color shade as you like.
On the main screen you will find a menu for quick play, game modes, player upgrades, player statistics and a shop to get virtual money in exchange for your real money.

But after playing for some time you will find out what they are for, not least because each button has a graphic preview, according to which you can deduce what it will probably be used for.
Although it may seem like this game is almost perfect, it is not. The "sucking" of the battery is quite above average, but this can still be forgiven for this application, for example due to the long playing time and graphic presentation of this game. But it is worse with clarity in the menu. I think Electronic Arts could work on it a bit, because it is not completely intuitive. It also bothers me that when I buy one of these more expensive games, the developers still want to make more money off of me. Thanks to the In-App Purchase, I should buy in-game money that can be used to buy golf experiences, and they are not shy about putting it in the main menu yet. That would probably be all the negatives of this game.
Enjoy the player's movements and the overall atmosphere of the field that will really amaze you. And when you manage to get an eagle afterwards and everyone applauds you, you get into the blood of your player and start rejoicing with him.

Unfortunately, it does not support the native Retina resolution on the new iPad, who has to look at the rough graphics like a grater from the iPad 2 :-(, too bad. It should be released in 2013.
