Do you like classic building strategies in the style of SimCity 2000? Have you spent tens or hundreds of hours meticulously planning your pixelated town, but today's genre competitors aren't taking you back? It is precisely the return to simpler times that Polycorne's new game takes on. In their Silicon City building strategy, instead of "Sims" you will get cuboid Silicens as residents of your city, but you will feel at home in the game.

The old-school atmosphere of Silicon City will certainly breathe on you already from the attached pictures. The game focuses on classic sandbox building, where you will be in the position of the newly elected mayor, creating your city on the green field, literally. The main tool will be the ability to break up the land into different zones, as you may know from the classic representatives of the genre. The buildings that grow in them are procedurally generated. This way, none of your cities will look the same.

According to the developers, however, data plays a key role. Silicon City will give you access to many different statistics, according to which you need to properly guide the further building of your city. Whether it is better access for residents to shops or personal interaction with disgruntled loudmouths on social networks, your motivation will be not only satisfied residents but also the best possible chance for your re-election. As one of the few games, Silicon City does not give you your position for free, you will have to defend it in regular elections.
