You probably associate the Baldur's Gate series with a series of tactical RPGs that you may be familiar with since the turn of the millennium. But as is the case with such popular series, even Baldur's Gate did not escape the now half-forgotten spin-off. In the case of the brand from the world of Dungeons and Dragons, it was the action adventure Dark Alliance. It was originally released in 2001 on the Playstation 2 and the original Xbox.

However, the game managed to rise from the dead and a few months ago console players got a remaster. And it is now also available on personal computers. You can thus boldly bite into a delicacy that has been neglected for many years, which can really surprise despite the absence of general popularity. You can cut down enemies in it with three different, customizable characters - an elven witch, a human archer or a dwarf warrior. From each of the characters, thanks to the complex improvement system, you can raise a hero or heroine exactly according to your imagination.

In addition to the solo adventure, Dark Alliance also offers the possibility to play with a friend in co-op. Quite surprising when it comes to a game from 2001. But what should not surprise you is the gameplay and graphics that do not deny the year of its origin. The remaster does not change the game itself in any fundamental way, it only scales the textures up to 4K resolution. But at least the publisher doesn't charge full price for Dark Alliance, you can get the game for less than thirty euros.
