On Monday, July 19.7.2010, XNUMX, Apple announced that it will start sales in other countries. Specifically in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore.

Apple said future customers will have a choice of either Wi-Fi-only or 3G version of the iPad when purchasing at all Apple Stores and authorized resellers. Prices are not yet available.

The company also informed that the iPad will gradually reach other countries this year, where Apple will then announce the specific availability and prices for that country. The debut of the iPad took place on April 3 in the US, when only the Wi-Fi version was offered. A month later, the Wi-Fi+3G model was already released.

Production issues and demand for the iPad delayed the international launch until May 28, when customers could purchase the tablet in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.

Monday's announcement means that Apple has followed through on its July target for 9 more countries.
