Over the past few years, we've gotten used to paying for apps, games, music, movies, e-books, and Apple Music at Apple stores using a debit or credit card. For some time now, however, the company has been allowing content fees to be paid through the operator as well. However, the mentioned function was only available in a few countries and mainly only with selected operators. Now, however, its support in Europe has significantly expanded, while luck has also smiled on Czech operators and thus, understandably, on us as users.

In our region, as well as in our neighbors in Slovakia, the option to pay through an operator is available at T-Mobile. Users using a tariff with O2 or Vodafone will have to wait some time for the function. The novelty is especially suitable for those users who do not want to add a payment card to their Apple ID and partially share some of its data.

As a result, the user does not have to own a credit or debit card or even a bank account. All spending on apps from the App Store, content from the iTunes Store or iBooks, or an Apple Music subscription can be paid together with spending on a flat rate with the operator at the end of the month. However, the function needs to be activated in the Apple ID account settings on iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC via iTunes. During setup, you need to have your phone number verified and then follow the instructions on the screen. Complete instructions for individual devices can be found below.
