Windows 11 - that's the term that has been buzzing almost all over the internet since yesterday. Although Microsoft has not yet officially presented this system, we can already find quite a lot of information about it, including leaked images and videos. They reveal the expected form of the system and its user environment. It didn't take long and, of course, apple fans joined the discussion, who wittily pointed out slight similarities with the apple macOS.
The new version of the system from Microsoft, Windows 11, should offer an improved user experience, as evidenced by the aforementioned images and videos. In general, it can be said that this giant is going to simplify its system and thus make its use more pleasant for less experienced users. From the information known so far, it can be seen that the "eleven" combines elements from the Windows 10X system, which was introduced in 2019, to which it adds new ideas. At first glance, you can notice the changes on the side of the main panel, which subtly approaches the appearance of the Dock from the mentioned macOS. However, it is still typical for Windows that it displays icons immediately next to the main Start icon directly to the left (which can of course be changed). But in the leaked images, the main panel is shown in the middle. But to claim that Microsoft is copying Apple is definitely not appropriate. It is only a similarity and a simple evolution in the user experience.
Another change should come in the form of the Start menu, which will get rid of the tiles that came with Windows 10. Instead, it will show pinned apps and recent files. Microsoft continues to bet on rounded window edges and the return of widgets. But when the official unveiling of Windows 11 will take place is, of course, unclear for now. Relatively confidential sources, led by the portal The Verge, anyway, they talk about the reveal during a special event on June 24th.

It doesn't look bad. I just don't understand why they're going back to rounded corners when they ran away from them with fanfare. Vistas + sevens were nicely round. Eights and square tens and now the change back again.
I like the rounded corners better, but I find it strange. The first ran away from them because it was no longer "modern" and suddenly they return to them because they are modern again.
Filip, it's coming back because people never accepted the edges... BTW: Why did Apple change the roundness to the edges on the iPhone 12?
Well, it probably can't be done on triangles, so where else to move from the edges than to the round edges again:D Anyway, discussions about copying are completely unnecessary. The whole Windows is originally copied, so everything after that, it doesn't matter :)
It's interesting what you apple-eaters don't see. On iDnes, see Chome in it. Well, I guess laundry has become the father of thought again 🤣👍
well, I read this for the first time the other day and the similarity with an apple was the first thing that came to my mind ;-)
