Apple is planning several events to celebrate International Women's Day. Throughout March, special workshops will be held as part of the Today at Apple program in branded stores. A partnership with Girls Who Code and a special challenge for all Apple Watch owners are also planned.

In partnership with Girls Who Code, Apple wants to support new opportunities for girls and young women in the United States who are serious about coding. Ninety thousand girls in fifty states will get the opportunity to thoroughly learn Swift, Apple's programming language, thanks to the Everyone Can Code educational program. The Swift course will also be offered to the heads of programming circles as part of expanding their scope. Apple has become famous for its support of learning to code, which it wants to provide to everyone regardless of age, gender or background, and strives for better opportunities for women in this field.

In March, visitors will be able to participate in more than sixty workshops in the "Made By Women" series at selected Apple branded stores around the world. Events will be held in stores in Singapore, Kyoto, Hong Kong, London, Milan, Paris, Dubai, San Francisco, Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles.

The event that all Apple Watch owners will be able to participate in is a special March challenge. Those who meet the required walking limit will receive an exclusive badge and stickers for iMessage. Users must complete a mile or longer on March 8th to claim the reward. March 8 will also affect the App Store. Its US version will promote apps programmed by women, or by a team led by a woman, in March. The theme of International Women's Day cannot be avoided even on Apple Music, iTunes, Beats 1, Apple Books and Podcasts. More information is provided by Apple at your website.
