Patrik Pajer The Epic Games Store has been providing players with a free game every week for quite a few years now. Unfortunately, only a small part of them will even get a port to macOS. However, gamers on Apple computers are also in luck this week. You can now pick up the award-winning horror adventure game Among the Sleep for free. It pushes the limits of tolerability to a new level. In the game, you will not play as an adult hero, but as a two-year-old child who is trying to find his way to his mother.

In Among the Sleep, you wake up as a two-year-old piglet and go in search of your mother. But because mysterious characters scare you, you run away from your home and find yourself in a strange surreal world full of spooky scenery. At the same time, the company will not make you any valiant protector. Instead, your teddy bear Teddy will guide you through the unknown world. He will act as your guide, guiding you along the way to ever-new destinations in search of your mother.

You will unlock new areas by collecting memories. You get to them after successfully completing logic puzzles. At the same time, the game reminds you at every step that you are just a pawn. You can't walk properly yet, so the fastest mode of movement for you is toddlerhood. In the most extreme cases, you can even run a few steps before collapsing to the ground again.
