In the world of video games, you are certainly used to a lot of different virtual sports. Among the evergreens such as football, hockey or golf, there is also a more unconventional discipline here and there. We have been able to jump on skis or a pole in games since the wooden days of ancient computers, but the developers from Emedion Games took on the daunting task of being inspired by a sport that you probably wouldn't expect in a virtual space - orienteering. According to them, this is how the idea for their new product StarPicker was born.

In the world of StarPicker, all the stars have disappeared from the sky. They fell on different planets and your task, as a recent winner of the Nobel Prize or a famous American football player, will be to collect them all again and put them back where they belong. But how does all this relate to orienteering? In each of the levels, you will be dropped on a planet, and you will always be given a map of the area you will be moving in and the position of all the lost stars. It will then be up to you to properly orient yourself in unfamiliar terrain and plan the optimal route to reach your goal.

The game is divided into more than sixty levels in five unique environments. In addition to a good sense of direction, you will need to engage motor skills while searching for the stars. At the same time, you can try parkour jumping in three different difficulties, which will satisfy both players who crave an extreme challenge and those who primarily want to enjoy the game's retro-futuristic environment.
