It was recently decided that iPad applications will have their own special place in the Appstore, so they won't have even more iPhone users. And as of yesterday, Apple started accepting these apps into the approval process.
Therefore, if developers want to have their applications in the Appstore during the so-called Grand Opening, i.e. right after the opening of the iPad Appstore, they should send their applications for approval by March 27, so that Apple has time to test them sufficiently.
iPad applications must be built in iPhone SDK 3.2 beta 5, which is expected to be the final version of the firmware that will appear in the iPad at the beginning of sales. iPhone OS 3.2 is expected to be released on the day the iPad goes on sale for the iPhone as well.
Some select iPad developers have received iPads to test their apps, so we don't have to worry that the best apps won't be tested live for the first time until after April 3rd, when the iPad goes on sale. Other developers can try apps "only" in the iPad simulator in iPhone SDK 3.2.
However, not all applications will be released separately for the iPad. Some apps will have both an iPad and an iPhone version in them (so you don't have to pay twice). For these purposes, Apple has created a section in iTunes Connect (the place for developers from which they send their applications to the Appstore) when uploading applications, specifically for screenshots on the iPhone / iPod Touch, and especially for the iPad.
So I'm curious how quickly the Appstore for iPad will fill up and what the ratio will be between applications that were originally also on the iPhone/iPod Touch and completely new ones that use the new capabilities of the iPad...
Anyway, I wanted to try how to program for the iPhone, but when I registered on the Apple dev site, I came across a sign with $99... Any idea how to avoid it and get a little "touch". Thanks.
If the question of legality is left out and one prepares to download 2,7GB, then there is an option :) My developer license is about to expire, but somehow there was no time for any development :)
As for me, I have always avoided "improper" tactics. But in this case, I don't think 99 dollars for a flight of hands (without the intention of developing anything of value) is really excessive.
The only question is whether it would cause any problems for you...
It's even expired for me, so nothing.. but you can definitely find it on the net too.. the price of $99 is also a fee for sending it to the Appstore, without paying you won't get it there anyway, so it doesn't seem "illegal" to me ..
Thanks for the offer anyway :)
On the other hand, after paying, one also gets a lot of documentation, so if someone really wants to develop, it makes sense to pay...
Of course yes, but as I wrote drive - just touch, don't develop :)
download this here and you can use the SDK in peace and legally...

It's already running, it's already fizzing :) Thanks for the tip!!!
