Do you like building strategies, but are annoyed that their protagonists are only humans? Then we have a tip for a new construction strategy that gives space to other inhabitants of the planet. In the future of the Timberborn game, when humans have deprived themselves of the post of masters of creation and almost destroyed the planet with their actions, the beavers are taking over. And you can help them build a civilization that will hopefully be more reasonable than the human one.

Building in Timberborn revolves around two things, wood and water. Beavers will not deny their heritage, and you will build most buildings and devices from tree trunks. Millions of years of dam-building experience can then be used to design complex irrigation systems and dams. At the same time, working with water is extremely important. The planet is no longer as predictable as it used to be, and one extreme alternates with another. Fertile periods with plenty of moisture will thus change to periods of extreme drought. So your beaver civilization must operate with the expectation of a bleak future.

But the beavers in Timberborn do not form a single, integrated clan, but are divided into two factions, each of which offers unique mechanics and construction options. While Folktails prioritize nature and peaceful coexistence with it, industrial Iron Teeth favor the most efficient use of technology. However, whichever path you choose, you can count on the fact that you won't run out of maps on which to build your civilization. Timberborn contains an intuitive map editor, of which the active community has already created a huge number.
