In early February, Apple released together with the first beta version of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 also the expected Photos application, which will be the successor to Aperture and iPhoto in the company's portfolio. After less than a month, users registered in the OS X public beta program can now access the new photo manager and editor.

The public beta just released has the same designation as the second build that reached developers in late February. Next to Photos we are in it they also received a whole host of new, racially diverse emoji.

However, the majority of users who will install the beta version of OS X 10.10.3 will probably be primarily interested in the aforementioned Photos application. This will bring simpler photo management than it was in iPhot, and at the same time easy synchronization of photos across all devices, including Macs and iOS devices. On the other hand, it will lose some of the more advanced features that Aperture has had so far.

Those who are registered in the test program of upcoming versions of OS X will find version 10.10.3 available for download in the Mac App Store.
