The iPad celebrates its 11th birthday
Exactly 11 years ago, Apple founder Steve Jobs introduced the world to the very first iPad. The entire event took place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in the American city of San Francisco. Jobs then declared about the tablet that it is the most advanced technology to date packed into a magical and revolutionary device at an incredible price. The iPad has literally defined an entirely new category of device that connects users with their applications and multimedia content in a significantly more intuitive, intimate and entertaining way than ever before.
The first generation of this apple tablet offered a 9,7″ display, a single-core Apple A4 chip, up to 64GB of storage, 256MB of RAM, battery life of up to 10 hours, a 30-pin dock connector for power and a headphone jack. The interesting thing then is that it didn't offer any camera or camera and its price started at $499.
Arrival of AirTags confirmed by another source
For several months, there has been talk among apple users about the arrival of a location tag, which should be called AirTags. This product could thus facilitate the search for our items such as keys and the like in an unprecedented way. At the same time, we could connect with the pendant in an instant within the native Find application. Another extreme advantage could be the presence of the U1 chip. Thanks to it and the use of technologies such as Bluetooth and NFC, the aforementioned search for devices and objects should be unprecedentedly accurate.

Since the second half of last year, there has been practically constant talk about the arrival of AirTags, with a number of analysts dating the introduction to the end of 2020. However, the tide turned and we will probably have to wait until March for the tag. But its early arrival is already almost certain, which has now been confirmed to some extent by the company Cyrill, which falls under the very popular and popular Spigen brand. The unexpected arrived in their offer today case designed just for AirTags. The end of December is shown as the delivery date.
Even more interesting is the mention of compatibility with wireless charging. Until now, it was not certain whether the localization pendant would work with the help of a replaceable battery of the CR2032 type, or whether Apple would not reach for another variant. According to this information, it seems that we will be able to recharge AirTags normally, probably through power cradles designed primarily for the Apple Watch. During earlier leaks, there was also information that the product could be charged by placing it against the back of an iPhone.
Apple invites developers to a series of great workshops
Apple greatly values app developers on their platforms, as evidenced by the annual WWDC developer conference and a number of great workshops and tutorials. In addition, tonight he sent out a series of invitations to all registered programmers, where he cordially invites to various events that are focused on the iOS, iPadOS, macOS systems, namely widgets and a relative novelty called App Clips.

The widget workshop is labeled “Building Great Widget Experiences" and will take place already on February 1 of this year. This should give developers a great opportunity to learn a number of new techniques and tips that can take their own widgets several levels forward. The next event will then take place on February 15 and will focus on porting iPad apps to Mac. The Cupertino company will then conclude the entire series with a final workshop focusing on the aforementioned App Clips.
