The long-awaited major update will arrive within the next week.

The new feature, which has been in the closed (and later also open) beta test phase since the end of February, will reach regular users as early as next week. It will bring a lot of interesting changes and novelties, including, for example, two new voices for Siri, improved protection against tracking by intrusive applications or a completely redesigned Podcasts application presented today. The Find application will also be updated, in which we will find support for the AirTags locators introduced today (as well as those from third parties), Apple Card owners will be able to use the Family program introduced today, iPad owners will be pleased with the presence of a horizontal boot screen, certain changes in particular in the area of ​​the user interface, the Music application will also be added.

 

The Fitness+ service, which is unavailable in our country, will receive support for AirPlay 2, Apple maps will then offer functions similar to those in Waze, i.e. current traffic monitoring, notifications of various events, etc. At the same time, full support for controllers from PS5/Xbox Series X will finally appear, and last but not least Siri contextual search will be improved next year. Probably the most anticipated feature, however, is the ability to "bypass" unlocking iPhones using Face ID, provided you have an Apple Watch on you.
