Czech iPad 3G owners are faced with the dilemma of how to fully use their tablet and where to buy a data plan. We bring you a price comparison of all three domestic operators.
Czech mobile operators, unlike their parent companies abroad, do not provide any special data tariffs tailored for the iPad. Maybe it is also related to the poor coverage of 3G networks.
If you do not yet have a Micro SIM card, <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a> you will find information on where and under what conditions you can purchase it.

We inquired by e-mail about the data tariffs of all three operators. Only Telefónica O2 responded by the deadline. The prices at T-Mobile and Vodafone are taken from the price lists available on the website.
It is impossible to determine a clear winner in data tariffs. Telefónica O2 has the best offer and coverage. However, everyone should consider how often they will use the iPad and how much data they will download in a certain period. He should choose his tariff accordingly.
vodafone 5MB/day is such a mockery that.. How can these idiots think that it can be enough for someone? THE DEMENTIANS OF VODAFONŠTI!!!
As an emergency for 1 day, I think it can be enough.
It may be enough for someone on icq or fb .. That tariff is not only for smart phones ..
I have an iPad as an emergency, prepaid from o2, 40 kc a week for 35 MB, it can be turned off at any time, but it is honored after weeks, so I just don't turn it off too soon :))
I would just like to draw attention to the penultimate paragraph, the last sentence - the word "are" twice; and then the first sentence in the last paragraph - "determine" twice again.. :)
The 5 MB per day should be the basis for every flat rate and free.
Otherwise, with Vodafone, it is good to count on a 10% discount, which everyone can activate. And changes are expected in the foreseeable future in the FUP limits and in the entire offer.
I quite like the quality of the O2 network, on the other hand I am angry at the poor quality of the Vodafone network. Mostly where I moved (lived, worked...) the Vodafone network was terrible and even though there should be 3G, moving around the room or apartment had a huge effect - from 3G to one bit of GPRS or no signal at all. The O2 was fine. That Vodafone is somehow coughing on it. Now for the "no" present for Christmas... How many "adult" people do I message from the Internet?
But really - I'm trying to find a cheap option, so I have the 3 GB per month from Vodafone and a 50% discount, so for about 260 CZK. But updating all iPhone applications, working with e-mails and surfing the net can swallow the 3 GB per month for me, and after exceeding the limit, the iPhone is almost an unusable brick. And I limit myself as much as I can and I'm unhappy about it, I don't enjoy the internet at all. It is impossible to get along with it, it is necessary to have either another operator or a Wi-Fi network at home. And I would see the same with the iPad.
Totally agree, don't sit in one spot near the wifi, so it doesn't make sense to even buy an iPhone! But hey, one to the other ..!
Hello,
maybe I would still compare if the tariff is for subscribers or if it has to have some other voice tariff.
I don't really understand your question. We compare data plans suitable for iPad, why still voice? If you want to find a suitable combination, take a look at the article Comparison of iPhone 4 prices with domestic operators you will find this information there.
You need a Micro SIM for the iPad. You can change this SIM with your phone (so you have one card, you keep changing it as needed). You have a voice and data tariff for one number, but it is rather impractical.
Prepaid plan? After all, it's in those tables. Each operator offers the possibility to buy a connection for at least one day. But in my opinion, this option is extremely disadvantageous and expensive.
Hello, could someone help me? I am currently abroad and data roaming is not working on my iPad. In the Czech Republic, EVERYTHING was ok, data is turned on, data roaming is also on, just to be sure, I changed the SIM cards in the iPhone and iPad to check the functionality of the SIM card and the data on the iPhone is ok. At the top is the icon of the 3g network that is available and the name of the operator. When you open the browser it says: unable to activate mobile data network - you are not a mobile data network user. Yes, and I checked with the operator whether roaming is ok and the operator is t-mobile and I have a paid data package with it. Well, maybe I explained it clearly. I'm asking for advice. Aloha
I'm in exactly the same situation, Ipa2, micro sim from t-mobile activated roaming, it's ok in the Czech Republic, not even a tap in Austria and nothing in Slovakia today either.
