The introduction of the new iPhones and Apple Watch is slowly knocking on the door. According to available information, this year's September conference should literally be packed with various novelties with a number of great changes. In addition, the expected apple watch is getting quite a lot of attention. In addition to the expected Apple Watch Series 8, we will probably also see the second generation of the SE model. However, what Apple fans are looking forward to the most is the speculated Apple Watch Pro model, which should take the watch's capabilities to the next level.

In this article, we will therefore take a closer look at the Apple Watch Pro. Specifically, we will look at all the information that revolves around this expected model and what we can roughly expect from it. For now, it looks like we definitely have a lot to look forward to.

Design

The first major change from the normal Apple Watch will most likely consist of a different design. At least this was mentioned by a respected source, Mark Gurman from the Bloomberg portal, according to which some design changes await us. There were also opinions among apple fans that this model will take the form of the prophesied Apple Watch Series 7. According to various leaks and speculations, these were supposed to come in a completely different form - with a body with sharp edges - which did not come true in the end. However, we should not expect this form from the Apple Watch Pro either.

According to available reports, Apple will rather bet on a more natural evolution of the current shape. Although this is a relatively vague description, it is more or less obvious that we can forget about the body with sharp edges. However, what we will probably definitely find some more fundamental differences in is the material used. Currently, the Apple Watch is made of aluminum, stainless steel and titanium. In particular, the Pro model should rely on a more durable form of titanium, as Apple's goal is to make this watch a bit more durable than the normal one. Interesting speculations also appeared in connection with the size of the case. Apple currently produces watches with 41mm and 45mm cases. The Apple Watch Pro could reportedly be slightly larger, making it a suitable option for a smaller number of users. Outside of the body, the screen should also be enlarged. Specifically, by 7% compared to last year's Series 7 generation, according to Bloomberg.

Available sensors

Sensors play practically the most important role in the world of smart watches. After all, this is precisely why there are countless speculations surrounding the Apple Watch Pro, which predict the arrival of various sensors and systems. In any case, information from respected sources only mentions the arrival of a sensor for measuring body temperature. However, the latter would not inform the apple user about his body temperature in the traditional way, but would rather alert him through a notification in the event that he notices an increase in it. Then a specific user could measure their temperature using a traditional thermometer for verification. But nothing else is mentioned.

Apple Watch S7 chip

Therefore, some analysts and experts expect that Apple Watch Pro will be able to record more data through already existing sensors, work with them better and display them exclusively only to owners of the Pro model. In this context, there are also mentions of exclusive types of exercises and similar gadgets that Apple could make available only to those who simply buy a better watch. However, it should also be mentioned that we should not count on the arrival of sensors for measuring blood pressure or blood sugar. We shouldn't expect any major leap forward in terms of performance either. Apparently, the Apple Watch Pro will rely on the Apple S8 chip, which is supposed to offer "similar performance" to the S7 from the Apple Watch Series 7. The funny thing is that even the S7 already offered "similar performance" to the S6 from the Series 6 watch.

Battery life

If we were to ask Apple Watch owners about their biggest weaknesses, then we could count on a uniform answer – battery life. Although apple watches are considered to be one of the best, they unfortunately suffer from a relatively poor endurance for one charge, which is why we usually have to charge them once a day, in better cases every two days. It is therefore not surprising that this fact is also discussed in connection with the new model. And quite possibly we will finally see the desired change. Apple Watch Pro is aimed at the most demanding users with a passion for extreme sports and physical activity. In such a case, of course, endurance is absolutely key. However, how much it will actually improve is not yet known - it is only mentioned that we will see some improvement.

On the other hand, in connection with battery life, there is also talk of the arrival of a brand new low battery mode. It should be similar to the one we know from our iPhones, and according to some speculation, it will be exclusive to this year's generation of Apple watches. In that case, only Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Pro and Apple Watch SE 2 would get it.
