U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings revealed that Apple's top executives will receive a bonus of nearly 36 restricted shares worth more than $000 million each. They will receive the shares gradually during the years 19-2016, when the shares will take effect. The Board of Directors will receive shares in three waves, the first in a volume of 2018 and the next in a volume of over 22.

A total of six of the nine top representatives will receive the bonus. They include Phil Shiller, Craig Federighi, Eddy Cue, Dan Riccio, Bruce Sewell and Jeffrey Williams. On the other hand, according to the document, Tim Cook, Jony Ive and Peter Oppenheimer will not receive the bonus, which he announced retirement at the end of September this year. The bonuses are certainly well-deserved, but it is interesting that Apple's head of design was not among those rewarded.
