After two months it's done, Beats Electronics and Beats Music are now definitively part of Apple. CEO Tim Cook officially welcomed the new colleagues to the Apple family.

Cook welcomed Beats on board in tweet, in which he referenced a special page on Apple.com dedicated to the just-completed acquisition, which is the largest in the company's history.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), welcomed Beats with the following message:

Today, we're excited to officially welcome Beats Music and Beats Electronics to the Apple family. Music has always had a special place in our hearts and we are thrilled to be joining forces with a group of people who love it as much as we do. Beats co-founders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre have created amazing products that have helped millions of people deepen their relationship with music. We are delighted to work with this team to further enhance such an experience.

And we can't wait to see what's next.

Alongside Jimmy Iovine and Dr. In his tweet, Dre's Tim Cook also mentioned Luke Wood, president of Beats Electronics, and Ian Rogers, the current executive director of Beats Music, who according to the latest reports should move to the role of head of iTunes Music, reporting to Eddy Cue.

For three billion dollars, Apple acquires both very valuable talent in the form of the already mentioned leading representatives of Beats and others, as well as the music streaming service Beats Music and a very profitable "factory" for headphones and music accessories. Along with the announcement of the completion of the acquisition, Beats products began to be sold exclusively in Apple Stores.

Both companies celebrated the successful conclusion of the giant acquisition with a rather strange advertising spot, in which no one is actually celebrating. In a half-minute video, Siri hears two talking Beats Pill speakers talking enthusiastically about their new owner, Apple. Siri will tell them that one of the co-founders of Beats Dr. Dre throws a party, but the talking speakers won't look at her. "Sorry, Mikey and Tino, Dre's party is by invitation only," the two named Beats Pill Siri ends their enthusiasm.

This is a really strange video, but we can look for a hint in the real behavior of Apple, which also organizes most of its events by invitation, and it is no secret that certain people, especially from the press, simply do not get to its events. At the same time, we can watch in the video a possible allusion to the premature celebration of Dr. Dre, who announced the upcoming acquisition with his friends before it was officially announced.
