In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

US users who have experienced iPhone slowdowns have reason to rejoice

If you are interested in the events surrounding the Apple company and have been following its steps for some Friday, then you certainly have not missed the case called Batterygate. This is a case from 2017 when iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus and SE (first generation) users experienced their Apple phones slowing down. The Californian giant did this on purpose, due to the chemical wear of the battery. In order to prevent the devices from turning off by themselves, he limited their performance. It was, of course, a huge scandal, which the media has so far described as the biggest customer fraud in history. Fortunately, the disputes were resolved this year.

Users of the aforementioned iPhones in the US finally have a reason to rejoice. On the basis of the contractual agreement, to which the Californian giant itself acceded, compensation in the amount of approximately 25 dollars, i.e. around 585 crowns, will be paid to each affected person. Users simply need to request compensation and Apple will then pay it.

Idris Elba will participate in  TV+

According to the latest reports from the popular magazine Deadline, which deals with news from the entertainment industry, we should expect the arrival of the legendary actor and musician on the  TV+ platform. Of course, we are talking about a British artist named Idris Elba, who you may remember from the world of Avengers, the movie Hobbs & Shaw, the series Luther and many others. It is Elba who should rush into the production of series and films, through the company Green Dor Pictures.

Google is going to improve Chrome so it doesn't drain your Mac's battery

The Google Chrome browser is generally known to bite a significant portion of the performance and can take care of battery consumption very quickly. Fortunately, that should be over soon. According to reports from The Wall Street Journal, Google is going to improve tab throttling, thanks to which the browser itself would be able to set a higher priority to necessary tabs and, on the contrary, limit those that are not so necessary and therefore only run in the background. Exactly this could have the aforementioned effect on battery life, which would subsequently increase dramatically. The change mainly concerns Apple laptops, while in the current situation the first testing is taking place.

We know what batteries will appear in the upcoming iPhone 12

Apple has twice failed to keep information under wraps in recent years. As is the rule, months before the release of Apple phones, all kinds of leaks that talk about interesting changes literally start pouring in on us. In the case of the upcoming iPhone 12, the bag has literally been torn open with leaks. According to several legitimate sources, the latest additions to the Apple phone family should be sold without earphones and adapters, which would greatly reduce the size of the package and lead to an extreme reduction in electrical waste. The other information we got at the end of last week deals with displays. In the case of the iPhone 12, there was talk for a very long time about the arrival of 90 or 120Hz displays. But the Californian giant is unable to reliably develop this technology. In the tests, the prototypes showed a relatively high failure rate, which is why this gadget cannot be deployed.

iPhone 12 concept:

The latest information focused on battery capacity. As you all know, Apple has completely backed away from 3D Touch technology, which was able to identify the strength of the user's pressure. This function was provided by a special layer on the display, the removal of which resulted in the thinning of the entire device. This was mainly reflected in last generation's endurance, as the Californian giant was able to equip the phones with a larger battery. It could therefore be expected that this year we will see batteries of the same size, or even larger, because we will certainly not see the return of the aforementioned 3D Touch technology.

Unfortunately, the opposite is true. The iPhone 12 should offer 2227 mAh, the iPhone 12 Max and 12 Pro will be equipped with a 2775 mAh battery, and the largest iPhone 12 Pro Max will offer 3687 mAh. For comparison, we can mention the iPhone 11 with 3046 mAh, the iPhone 11 Pro with 3190 mAh and the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which offers a great 3969 mAh. In any case, it is necessary to realize that this is still only speculation. We will have to wait for real information until the release itself, which will take place this fall.
