Each of us certainly has our photos or videos that are not intended for the curiosity of others - whatever the reason. Video Safe allows you to conveniently upload these photos or videos to the iPhone application secured by a four-digit code.

After launching the app for the first time, you enter the code that you want to continue to use as the entry PIN to Video Safe. The main screen is very simple and clear – you have a Videos tab and a Photo Albums tab, an Edit button (for adding, renaming or deleting folders) and Settings.

But let's take a closer look at the individual functions. As for videos – the app plays videos just like the iPod app. So by law, the video must be iPod compatible, otherwise you won't be able to play it in Video Safe. But it's much better with photos - unlike transferring from iTunes, your photos are not compressed in any way, they are not reduced in any way, and their resolution is not changed in any way. So you can view the photo albums in full splendor. Working with photos is also the same as in the original photo application - but that's not a reason to be sad at all, we couldn't have wished for anything better. As in the default application, you can also handle photos - share them via e-mail (and also send them via bluetooth, but only to Video Safe users), copy, delete, move, paste or play them as a presentation.

The settings are not poor either, there are really plenty of options. Of course, you have the option to change the PIN or turn it off, turn on the protection against forgetting the PIN (by entering 3 questions and one answer for each). You can upload data to the application via a web browser, via an FTP server that the iPhone prepares for you, via USB (e.g. using T-PoT on Windows or DiskAid on Mac) or you can import them from the default application (iPhone 3GS users can also import videos) or take a picture straight away. Bluetooth sharing with other Video Safe users in your area is also configurable, so you can exchange your interesting data conveniently and quickly. Photos can be imported in high resolution, this can also be set. It is also possible to configure a slideshow.

Interesting features that I definitely can't forget are Snoop Stopper, QuickHide a Security Log. Snoop Stopper is a really genius feature - you set how many wrong attempts to enter the PIN will lead to the app launching and displaying fake content, so you feel like you've guessed the PIN. It is also possible to set one number combination that will lead to such a false start. QuickHide it works simply - you can quickly switch to a preset photo with an adjustable gesture, which is useful in case someone disturbs you. IN Security Log you have, how else, an overview of attempts to log into the application with details.

I've tried all sorts of competing apps and this one is by far the best. Despite the fact that a lot of nice functions are added with updates, which I don't find much in the competition.
