Apple picker The Czech application Ventusky is now available in the App Store in the basic version for free download. It offers users free and ad-free access to detailed 14-day forecasts, satellite images, radar, precipitation forecasts, air quality and temperatures. The annual subscription only charges additional layers for forecasting, for example, waves, snow, humidity or air pressure. The price of the annual subscription is set at 99 CZK.
Now everyone can try the application and use the most important functions for free and without ads. In addition, the application does not collect any personal data. Thanks to this, the application opens up a wider market and can finance operation and further development from subscriptions.
The goal of the project ventusky is to offer highly accurate weather information worldwide. Visitors get access to data that only a few years ago meteorologists worked with. In addition, Ventusky displays all data on an interactive 3D globe. Everything is fluid and advanced technologies allow calculations directly on the phone in real time. This was possible mainly due to the fact that the entire application is written natively directly for iOS and Android without the use of any third-party libraries. The entire technology is created directly in the Czech Republic.
