Immensely anticipated Air Tag today it finally arrived to the first lucky ones. Thanks to this, the Internet was almost immediately filled with the first knowledge about this pendant, and at the same time we were treated to a rather interesting video. The Japanese YouTube channel Haruki is behind this, and in its fourteen-minute film, it breaks down this new product and shows how it actually works inside. Thanks to this, we can notice the internal components providing Bluetooth, the U1 chip and others. At the same time, all of them are perfectly integrated in the form of a compact disc.

Even before the start of sales, it was clear to everyone that it would be relatively easy to get into AirTag. After a long time, it is an apple product with a replaceable battery. Thanks to this, it is enough to open one cover, remove the 2032 type button battery and then, using a really thin tool, we can get all the way inside. An interesting fact is that in the case of the locator, Apple uses the coil housing itself as a speaker, which is then paired with another component in the middle of the product. The whole video is of course in Japanese. Therefore, we cannot determine exactly what secrets AirTag hides. Anyway, it shouldn't be long before we get a detailed breakdown from iFixit in English.

In any case, Apple is criticized in the case of AirTag for its not very practical design. It is as if it is a coin, which the Cupertino giant is forcing apple drinkers to buy a key ring or a case. The product itself is difficult to use and we cannot attach it to keys and other things in any way, which, for example, competing products from Tile have a user-friendly solution. A MacRumors forum reader with a nickname smythey anyway, he came up with his own, rather idiosyncratic solution. He drilled a small hole in the AirTag, which allows him to thread a string through, or attach a thin eyelet to the keys. Of course, this is not a completely cosmetically ideal option, and at the same time we must point out that such an intervention leads to the loss of the warranty and the risk of damage to the product.
