PR Operating leasing is slowly starting to establish itself not only in cars, but also in the technological world. Especially for companies that purchase tens of phones or computers for their employees, the operative rental of iPhones or Macs can be very advantageous in the end. On the Czech market, the Logicworks company offers the possibility of such a rental, which is cheaper than, for example, the competitor Alza.

The main advantage of operational leasing for an iPhone or Mac is that no device is owned by the company and all worries (repairs, service, complaints and related costs) are taken over by the supplier, in this case Logicworks. For a monthly fee, the company no longer has to worry about managing the device.

In addition, companies can afford to offer employees the latest products every year, two or three, depending on the length of the contract, since they return the existing ones to Logicworks after the contract expires and can continue with new machines under similar conditions.

At Logicworks, they offer an operational lease in cooperation with IBM for one, two, or three years, with the longer the contract, the smaller the monthly rental fee you pay. Operative leasing of Apple products can only be used by companies, and at Logicworks they must always choose computers or phones with a minimum purchase value of 100 crowns without VAT (e.g. 5 iPhones and 2 Macs).

At Logicworks, you cannot lease just one iPhone, as you can with Alza, on the other hand, but in the case of five iPhone 7 Plus 256GB, you can already get more favorable terms during operational leasing (see table below). In addition, Alza offers operational leasing for apple phones for a maximum of one year, Logicworks for up to three.

Quite fundamental differences can then be found in the offer of both mentioned companies when renting MacBooks. The popular 13-inch MacBook Air from 2016 (see table below for configuration) will cost you significantly less in the case of at least five units as part of operational leasing with Logicworks, who compile a customized price based on the number of devices, while Alza has fixed prices for one unit and then it just multiplies.
