After all, the iTunes update released yesterday will not be as minor an update as it seemed at first glance. iTunes 11.1.4 namely, in addition to the possibility of viewing your wish list directly in the library, it solves a major problem that occurred on Windows XP with the arrival of the eleventh version – the impossibility of connecting a device with iOS 7 and subsequent synchronization. Users of the older operating system from Microsoft are now reporting that everything is working now…
Windows XP was first released in 2001, but it still remains on a large percentage of computers, and with iTunes 11, Apple made life much more difficult for those users if they owned iPhones and iPads with the latest iOS 7. Windows XP refused to detect the devices after a cable connection, and it was impossible to no backup or sync. Only the current version 11.1.4 seems to definitively solve this problem, although Apple does not specifically mention the solution to this problem at all.
Thanks for the tip Welcome to Vojík.
I mainly know that 14 days ago I threw out a couch :-D
Now that I bought a Mac :-D
I confirm. It's finally working for me. :D
especially since iTunes 8.1 could not be run on Windows 11.1.4 after the update... I had a lot of trouble while I was running this update....
I can't download iTunes at all. And I've tried just about every method. For XP and Vista, directly from iTunes or just download. I even tried uninstalling the previous iTunes and still can't download the new ones.
download it directly from the apple site - installation
Jesus and what have I been doing all afternoon
The "biggest new thing mentioned" is integrated, of course, right next to the iTunes Store button.
I downloaded the latest version of iTunes 11.1.4.62 which should have solved it
non-working connection with WIN XP since iTunes version 11. Really managed without
problems to connect via USB iPad with iTunes (WIN XP), download the latest
iOS version 7.0.4, install it via USB to iPad, it works on iPad without
problems.
But a new problem appeared. I can't connect to iTunes
(authorize the computer) or download application updates. They always report it
error ITUNES REQUIREMENT CANNOT BE SERVICED. AN UNKNOWN ERROR HAS OCCURRED
(-45054).
Furthermore, when I synced my iPad with iTunes, I found that I could not sync MS Outlook 2007 contacts or calendars.
It stops, about 1-2 times after a few minutes some kind of message about
inability to write something to a file or something similar (??) (,
I think it was some library -dll).
Does anyone have anything similar?
I am correcting and clarifying: I cannot connect from iTunes to the iTunes store. The interesting thing is that in the Shop tab I can log in and view my account - there it normally accepts the password and I can view my account. However, when I try to "Authorize the computer" in the same way under the same tab (Store), the result can be seen in the attached image (above).
The message when synchronizing contacts or calendars of MS Outlook 2007 with iPad is this:
.
Hello, I also dealt with this and I managed to find an instruction that solved it :)))
Open the My Computer folder from the Desktop or Start menu.
On the Tools menu, select Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
In the "Advanced settings" panel under "Hidden files and folders", make sure that
"Show hidden files and folders" option is selected.
Click the OK button.
Go to the following location either by typing it in the address bar, copying and
pasting into the address bar, or by clicking directly on the folder hierarchy listed:
C: Documents and Settings All Users Apple Computer iTunes application data
Right-click the SC Info image folder and choose Delete from Local
offers.
Restart your computer.
pretty good weaning how much, 5 months without itunes? and then the iPhone cannot work without it...otherwise everything works perfectly now...question: were you able to connect the iProdukt in winXP at least with alternative software? I was looking for a replacement for iTunes, but what I downloaded here didn't find my iPhone (4s). Has anyone managed to find a replacement?
