Friday, January 29, is the day when the Apple Watch went on sale in the Czech Republic, nine months after the world premiere. Although Czech customers had to wait for them, the positive thing is that Apple has most of the models in stock in its online store, so you can have them at home tomorrow.
If you are interested in the Watch Sport, which has an anodized aluminum case, you can choose from all twelve models, starting at 10 crowns for the 990-millimeter variants. Apple offers a total of twenty stainless steel Watch models, but currently has thirteen in stock. Others are either on a longer wait or are not sold at all. You can buy the cheapest Stainless Steel Watch for 38 crowns.
You will not go to the Apple Online Store, even if you are interested in the gold Apple Watch Edition, for which you would otherwise pay at least 305 thousand crowns, or Hermès luxury edition. Although Apple recently started selling online for the first time, this does not apply to the Czech Republic, not even for the gold Watch Edition.
Of course, Apple also offers a number of accessories for its watch. If you don't like the original strap, you can choose from a wide range of colors and materials, such as calfskin, stainless steel woven mesh or different types of leather. As for accessories, you can find, for example, in the Apple Online Store magnetic charging station and some third-party accessories.
If you don't know what size watch and band to choose, use official size guide. And if you are not comfortable with blind shopping and would like to see or try the watch first, you can also visit Czech APRs such as iStyle, iWant, iSetos or Qstore, where they also sell the Watch from today.

I have already bought abroad. I think that many Czechs who wanted them already have them. It's a shame that sales in CZ are so long delayed.
I guess I'll wait for Watch 2. Hopefully I'll catch the biggest flies and they'll look a little nicer. We'll see.
flies properly?
Personally, I would welcome a face time camera, more powerful components because the speed of launching apps (including those supporting watch os2) is tragic, a bigger battery so that apps can be updated in the background, full waterproofing, gps, maybe 3D touch, and what I would really like is a pressure gauge and thermometer…
Agreeing to a more powerful gut. I pretty much only use native apps because anything else takes too long to launch.
Current water resistance is enough for me - if I get something dirty on my watch, I just wash it under running water and that's it. But why not, being able to take them to the pool would probably come in handy.
In my opinion, GPS is pointless, because it would eat up the battery of the watch in about an hour - a solution using a GPS phone seems more reasonable to me.
That I'm so curious - what exactly would be the benefit of 3D Touch compared to Force Touch?
Yes, the GPS would eat up the battery, I would only pay for it in a few years, but it would be nice not to have to carry the phone with you when you run if you want to track the route, but that's a small thing. I would like the 3D touch mainly from the point of view of comfort during use.. Forcetouch on the AW seems a bit clumsy to me.. You have to push harder on it, whereas everything goes smoothly with the 3D touch on the iPhone. I don't have many ideas about using the next touch layer, but Apple would come up with something.
Otherwise, I wrote the water resistance mainly because before that I was used to swimming with the watch, etc., and unlearning it was a pain, but I can imagine the possibilities of use, for example, in tracking swimming, etc.
they are waterproof to the extent that you can swim in the sea. It's not for diving, but I've tried swimming - there are even apps for swimmers :)
Yes, but not ofiko, and I really wouldn't want to risk it in more expensive models.
you can't swim with it, you can swim and gallop in it. you can also soak them deeper, but as you work, you will bury them in half an hour. GPS would eat the battery? just like in garmins. they could push out the competition, but they left it in the number one position in sportsters. and at the same time the garmin is worth a lot...
how can you not, when I swam with my AW several times, swimmers also train with AW
IPX7, I don't have anything more to add to that. If I find the first swimmer with AW on his arm, I'll write here :) and I swim that kilometer a day anyway. Otherwise, the swimmers are all without any watches, they use 3at watches and that's 99% garmin and the reason is guaranteed and not random water resistance when swimming!

you know, it's a bit of a farce. Basically, you claim that AWs are waterproof and you can swim in them just fine. Apple doesn't guarantee it, but you know it. Could anyone who drowned in AW while swimming turn to you for reimbursement? If AW could be used normally while swimming like garmins, Apple would be the first to shout it at us... just because you see someone swimming with it doesn't mean that they will last long and all, they are simply not for this AW! If you claim they are, I'll let you pay for mine when I drown them? do you know what the pressures are when it takes off? Garmin had a problem with it from the beginning, the doll was jumping...
I see it differently! In my opinion, Apple wanted to avoid complaints about water resistance, so it didn't mention any (probably knew why). On the other hand, there are companies like iFixit that dissect each new product and give recommendations. I found on the forums that you can swim with them, but not dive. I tried and nothing. You didn't try it and because you didn't see anyone swimming with AW, you said it was stupid. Just because you haven't seen something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
I do not claim that they are waterproof like Garmin. But I know that with AW people swim. Nothing more nothing less. And of course, whoever uses AW in the water does so at their own risk.
Just use the Czech SIRI and it will be OK. We could hopefully wait for it this year.
So what, will there be an update with Siri in 19? :-)
I don't understand the absence of GPS? apple could have grabbed the entire sportsteu market like Garmin, Sunto, Polar and others! why carry a mobile phone with you when you run? it's clear that it's a battery drain, but the GPS may not still be functional. I think Garmin with active GPS also has a maximum endurance of 16 hours. however, it is enough for us to run and often much less for a tour as well. I'm definitely waiting for the second version. let's see what apple wants to raise the board?
I would like to ask those discussing here whether they have an explanation why AW started to be sold here in Bohemia only after 9 months. Is there a reasonable explanation for this?
full warehouses of AW I. and AW II. in front of the door, so the Czechs are also good at Apple :-(
