Users must install the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player plug-in to run smoothly on Mac computers. Apple indeed he has begun block older versions because it found a major security flaw in them.

Users should download Flash Player version 14.0.0.145 if they have the option. If they cannot install Flash Player 14 on their operating system, a fixed version 13.0.0.231 has been released, which no longer contains the security flaw.

Adobe released a key update on Tuesday, and Apple is now urging everyone to install it. On a mistake pointed out Google engineer Michele Spanguolo stated that even the largest websites such as Google, YouTube, Twitter and Tumblr could become the target of attacks through the Flash plug-in, however, the websites themselves reacted quickly to the problem. If users now install the latest version of Flash Player, they don't have to worry about any security risks associated with the acquisition of personal data by a third party.
