This year's 24″ iMac M1 has been on the market for almost a month and its users are relatively satisfied so far. This is a great all-in-one computer that offers a lot of performance thanks to the Apple Silicon M1 chip. But now it turns out that this Mac is not completely flawless and some pieces have an aesthetic manufacturing defect. This is because users are now starting to draw attention to the display being attached crookedly in relation to the stand.

This is how Apple presented the new iMac M1:

The issue was almost immediately publicized after a review was released over the weekend by a YouTuber who goes by the moniker iPhonedo. In his video, he drew attention to the fact that his M1 iMac is tilted to one side. Since this problem was visible at first glance, he wanted to make sure of it and therefore took out a ruler, which later confirmed the crooked attachment and thus the tilt itself. Of course, it doesn't stop there for this YouTuber. Other Apple users have already written about the same problem on the Apple Support Community forum, and another complaint appeared on the Reddit portal. In addition, they encountered the same issue in the editorial office of the foreign magazine MacRumors, where at first they thought it was a problem with the table.

The iMac display is attached to the stand by seven screws. The worse news is that this is a factory issue that users cannot fix themselves. In addition, Apple itself has not yet commented on the whole situation, so it is a question of how everything will continue to develop. However, for this very reason, users should check their new iMac M1 immediately upon receipt and return it within 14 days if this problem occurs.
