Error in Safari: turn off form filling, your contacts are at risk

A bug has appeared in the Safari web browser versions 4 and 5 that allows malicious code to retrieve all of your Address Book contacts and provide them to an attacker. However, you can avoid this error until the patch is released.

The exploit was publicly unveiled yesterday by its discoverer, the founder of the security company WhiteHat Security, Jeremiah Grossman. The error occurs in Safari versions 4 and 5 when the user has auto-fill of forms enabled.

AppWall Screensaver: WWDC-like screen saver

Apple in the third quarter: sales at an all-time high, profit up 78 percent

Apple released financial results for the third quarter of its 2010 fiscal year, which ended on June 26, 2010. The company reported record revenue of $15,7 billion and quarterly net income of $3,25 billion, or $3,51 per share. International sales accounted for 52 percent of quarterly sales.

Apple sold 3,47 million Macs in the quarter, a new quarterly record and a 33 percent unit increase over the same quarter last year. The company sold 8,4 million iPhones in the quarter, a 61 percent unit increase over the same quarter a year earlier.

Apple Mac mini 2010: performance encased in aluminum (Experience)

The introduction of the small Mac mini model year 2010 was a big surprise, especially in terms of its new look. While an internal hardware upgrade was expected, a drastic redesign was not.

The appearance of the new Mac mini has really succeeded, even if many owners of the previous model initially think the complete opposite.
