Jiří Filip The Apple Event, at which the Californian giant presented this year's new iPhone 12, took place already at the beginning of October. In particular, we saw the presentation of four "twelve" models - iPhone 12 mini, 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. While we have already published the unboxing, first impressions and review of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro in our magazine, we still had to wait for the 12 mini and 12 Pro Max. In this case, the reason is simple – Apple has divided the launch of sales into two groups, and the 12 mini, together with the 12 Pro Max, can only be purchased by customers starting today. We managed to get both models, whose sales start today, to the editorial office. In this article, we will specifically look at the unboxing of the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
As you may have noticed in the reviews of the previous models, the packaging of the new iPhone 12 is different, i.e. smaller. If you are one of the apple fans, then you certainly did not miss the fact that Apple has stopped packaging a charging adapter with its smartphones, together with EarPods headphones. This is exactly the reason for reducing the size of the box itself. So if you were already bored by the thick box of previous generations, believe me that you will definitely enjoy the new one - because it is something new that has never been here before. The color of the iPhone 12 Pro Max box is black, just like the iPhone 12 Pro, the box is about 2x thinner in terms of dimensions. It is the black color that evokes professionalism, luxury and the fact that you have "something extra". You will still enjoy opening it the same way - to get to the phone, you need to remove the transparent plastic film and then let the bottom part slide out. In the package, in addition to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, you will find a USB-C power cable, along with stickers and a miniature manual.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is placed upside down in the box. The back of the device does not protect anything at all, there is a protective film on the display. For all iPhone 12, this film has a new white color, in previous generations it was transparent. In the mentioned film, there are small icons next to the individual buttons that describe what the buttons do, which will be appreciated especially by owners who have never had an iPhone. After removing the film from the display, the iPhone no longer protects anything at all, and you have no choice but to turn it on. In addition to the phone itself, the manual itself has been redesigned, which is much smaller and resembles a leporelo. In addition to the manual, in the package you will find the already mentioned sticker with the Apple logo and, of course, there is also a needle for pulling out the SIM card tray.
