Your only concern is to follow the rules of the game and navigate them as best you can. But such a concept is turned on its head by the multiplayer affair of Ultimate Chicken Horse. She puts you and a few of your friends in the role of game designers who, however, don't want to completely help future players.

You will build the level with two to four people, repeatedly during each of the rounds. With the help of adding platforms, special devices and traps, you have to make your way as easy as possible as soon as possible and make it as unpleasant as possible for others by cleverly placing them. Each level thus becomes an increasingly complex platforming challenge over time. You can make it easier for yourself and others by blowing up obstacles and placing a coin that everyone rushes to.

But since Ultimate Chicken Horse leaves its own level design in the hands of the players themselves, there are also some negatives associated with such an approach. Built levels can easily become frustrating, for example, in cases where the entire screen is filled with challenging obstacles and none of the opponents want to proceed to simplify it. But such a thing is but a small price to pay for the fun that Ultimate Chicken Horse can otherwise provide in a rarely original multiplayer mode.
