Do you feel like taking a break from time to time while playing some strategy building? Unfortunately, such a sensible idea sometimes turns into the exact opposite of the original plan. Your city gradually grows and you have to solve an increasing number of complex situations and problems. You are responsible for the well-being of your residents, compliance with spatial planning or balancing the entire city economy. Fortunately, the relaxed Townscaper stands out from a number of classic building strategies, or at least from this dual nature of them. The game, which is the work of a single developer, Oskar Stalberg, will definitely not get on your nerves.

Townscaper is all about building island towns full of adorable buildings. Nothing more, nothing less. The game does not set any goal for you and thus leaves you completely free. But unlike some sandbox simulators, you won't find a huge number of options here. You don't have to choose between different types of buildings, or between the different turns that your sidewalks will follow. The gameplay is as intuitive as possible and you will easily build small houses from the first second you spend in the game.

Building takes place by simply choosing a color and clicking somewhere on the screen. The game will then decide by itself which piece is most suitable for that place. You click into the water, a piece of the island appears. Click on an empty piece of the island, a small house will appear. Click on the house many times, you will build a tower to the sky. In addition, all this playing is accompanied by pleasant visuals and relaxing musical accompaniment. So if you feel stressed and your usual games don't help you relax, definitely think about the intuitive creation of your own town in Townscaper.
