The construction of Apple's new headquarters has come under considerable scrutiny in recent months. The seat surprises with many features, but the most important one is the design, where Apple was inspired by UFO saucers. However, new information suggests that the "UFO" design was decided on only after the umpteenth attempt, and other shapes were also considered.

Previous concepts are displayed in a new book titled Spaces from the Ivory Press publishing house, the photos are by José Manuel Ballester. As can be seen, several variants came into consideration. They differ not only in shape, but also in overall layout. However, we have to say that we are glad that in the end Apple has decided on a circular design, the previous concepts do not match our eye very well.

If it weren't for HP, the spaceship probably wouldn't have happened...

For the final design, we can "thank" the HP company, which in 2010 decided to sell the plot of land on which the new "UFO ship" stands today. Without this area, we could not wait for such a colossal building.

If you are interested in the new book, you can order it from manufacturer's website for a price of 50 Euro (about 1276 CZK without VAT).
