Using an iPad from an early age may not be to the liking of every parent, but time is moving by leaps and bounds, and in the end it may turn out that just learning new things combined with fun and interactivity can turn out to be a much more effective way than looking at syllabaries and textbooks.
The development studio is also aware of the benefits of teaching using an iPad pmq software, which offers a whole range of applications with a focus on children of preschool age up to the first grades of elementary school. Today we will be the first to introduce the already mentioned Alphabet application for children.
Letters can be learned in different ways. This is precisely what the Alphabet for children has in mind, which offers eight different modes to gradually recognize the entire alphabet and learn which character means what. Each letter is always associated with a specific image and usually accompanied by a sound recording.
In the section Alphabet can be scrolled through the complete alphabet. There is always an uppercase and lowercase letter and the name is spoken in a pleasant female voice. But first, children can learn uppercase letters, in the section Capital letters. The display always shows a capital letter, a picture starting with this letter and the word itself at the bottom. Again, the voice reads everything important, i.e. "R as a roll". Scroll through the alphabet using the arrows in the edges of the screen, the letters are arranged randomly. They also work on the same principle Lowercase letters.
You can go to the game alphabetically Find the card. The task is to point to the picture that starts with the displayed letter at the top (uppercase and lowercase letters are shown). The app first reads the letter and names all three pictures, then you have to match the correct picture to the letter.
A different method of learning is provided by the game Word formation. The children have to turn the letters in the word one at a time, and after each turn a part of the picture is revealed. As soon as the last letter is rotated, the entire image is also displayed. Each letter is read to the child and finally the whole word.
The game Find the last letter teaches children to recognize letters at the end of words. A picture is named and three letters are offered. The user must then correctly recognize and mark which letter he hears at the end of the given word. If you want to play the word again, just click on the owl in the upper right corner. After all, this applies to all games.
The game offers interesting motivation Letters in the word. In the displayed word, the child must find a certain letter according to the announcer's instructions. If he guesses, he gets a star. If he doesn't guess, he has a chance to guess again, but he doesn't get a star anymore. After getting eight stars, the little reader will get a small picture as a reward.
As the last game, Alphabet offers a traditional one for children pexeso, where it is nothing more than the correct connection of characters and images. Each flipped card is again accompanied by a sound, so the child learns with each move, at least by listening.
The combination of interactivity, image and sound can be very effective. Whether consciously or unconsciously, children here associate learning with fun, so learning the alphabet does not have to be boring, but on the contrary, it can be fun for children. In addition, the alphabet for children praises and encourages small pupils in further tasks with its voice.
Alphabet for children can be downloaded for either iPhone or iPad, unfortunately it is not a universal application. You have to pay 3,59 euros for such a learning application. There are also free versions that offer just a few letters of the alphabet to try the app before you buy it.
