Information on 267 million FB users sold for $610

Security experts from a research company Cyble published information that a dataset of information on more than 267 million users was sold on the dark web in recent days for an incredible 610 dollars. According to findings so far, the leaked data did not include, for example, passwords, but the file did contain e-mail addresses, names, Facebook identifiers, dates of birth or telephone numbers of individual users. This is practically an ideal source of data for others phishing attacks, which, thanks to leaked information, can be very well targeted, especially at less "savvy" internet users. It's not yet entirely clear where the leaked data came from, but it's speculated to be part of one of the larger earlier leaks - Facebook has a very rich history in this regard. Facebook has not yet issued an official statement. Although no passwords have been leaked, it is generally recommended change your Facebook account password once in a while. At the same time, it is necessary to have passwords are different – that is, so that you do not have the same password on Facebook as, for example, on your main e-mail box. Securing your account (not just the Facebook one) also helps two-factor authentication, which can also be turned on on Facebook, in the section dedicated to account security.

AMD introduced new low-cost Ryzen 3 processors

If you're interested in computer hardware, you've probably noticed the huge advances in CPUs that have taken place over the past few years. We can thank the society for this AMD, which with its processors Ryze literally turned the entire market upside down. The latter, thanks to the years of dominance of Intel, considerably stagnated, to the detriment of end users. The processors from AMD presented today are an illustrative example of the leap development of recent years. These are the lowest models from the current generation of Ryzen processors, namely Ryzen 3 3100 a Ryzen 3 3300X. In both cases, these are quad-core processors with SMT support (i.e. virtual 8 cores). The cheaper model has clocks 3,6 / 3,9 GHz, the more expensive one then 3,8 / 4,3 GHz (normal frequency/boost). In both cases the chips have 2 MB L2, 16 MB L3 cache and TDP 65 W. With this announcement, AMD completes its product line of processors and currently covers absolutely all conceivable segments from the lowest low-end to the high-end for enthusiasts. The new processors will go on sale at the beginning of May, and the Czech prices are also known - it will be on Alza Ryzen 3 3100 available for NOK 2 Ryzen 3 3300X then for NOK 3. Considering that two years ago, Intel was selling chips of this configuration (599C/4T) for triple the price, the current state of affairs is very pleasant for PC enthusiasts. In connection with the new processors, AMD also announced the arrival of the long-awaited chipset B550 for motherboards that arrive during June and they will especially bring support PCIe 4.0.

YouTube CEO: We will remove all objectionable content about the coronavirus from YouTube

CEO YouTube Susan Wokcicki se she let it be heard, that the company intends strongly perform against all who will spread on their platform false information about the current global coronavirus pandemic COVID-19. Specifically, it is "any content masquerading as health advice that will contradict the official recommendations published by the World Health Organization (WHO)". Such "problematic" content will be removed from the YouTube platform without notice removed. Such objectionable videos will include, for example, those in which there is a recommendation that taking an increased dose of vitamin C can cure an infected person, etc. At first glance, the above described may seem like a conscious fight against various disinformation, however, it must be taken into account that the WHO is not performing well in the current crisis as an authority that should present generally valid recommendations - such as some contradictory recommendations and measures, published several days in a row (wearing masks, traveling...). The measures taken are from one side welcome, but from the second there are mentions of censorship and whether the WHO's statements and recommendations are completely legitimate and should be considered as such unquestionable.

Google is changing the rules for advertising

Google has changed advertising rules already in 2018, when it was a change in the rules related to political advertising. Google demanded a certain kind from advertisers identification, due to which their entire campaign could subsequently be traced and attributed to that person. These rules now extend to all types of ads, which was shared on the company blog by the Director of Marketing and Advertising Integrity John Canfield. Thanks to this change, users who see the ad will be able to click on the icon ("Why this ad?"), which will reveal information about kdo he paid for this particular ad and what country it is. Google is trying to fight fake or even fraudulent ads with this step, which have recently started to appear more and more frequently within the company's advertising platform. The newly adopted rules also apply to current advertisers, with the provision that if they are contacted with a request for proof of identity, they have 30 days to process the request. After their expiration to them the account will be forfeited and any opportunities for further advertising.
