We're not going to deprive you of the latest Apple-related speculation this week either. This time we will talk mainly about future products from Apple, namely the new iMacs and the cameras of this year's iPhones. As with many other summaries of speculation, we will also mention one interesting patent.

Processors in the new iMacs

In connection with the new iMacs, there has recently been a lot of discussion about the fact that they could be equipped with Apple Silicon processors, which the apple company presented as part of the opening Keynote for this year's WWDC conference. This week, a leaked benchmark test appeared on the Internet, which appears to be for the as-yet-unveiled iMac. But it is apparently equipped with a processor from Intel. Most likely, this is a tenth generation Intel Core i9 20-core processor with 20 threads, 3MB of L4,7 cache and XNUMXGHz Turbo Boost. According to the test data, this will apparently be the most powerful configuration of the iMac, and we will obviously have to wait a while for Apple's computers with Apple Silicon processors.

Apple Watch touchless control

From time to time, Apple patents technology that boggles the mind. The patent that will be discussed today will most likely never be put into practice, but it is definitely worth paying attention to. This is a technology that, based on the analysis of subtle movements and processes, could be able to "guess" what action the watch wearer wants to perform. Among other things, the evaluation should take place based on the analysis of blood flow through the veins, the watch should use machine learning technology to function properly. The technology undoubtedly looks very interesting, but only a few can imagine it in practice.

An even better iPhone 12 camera

This week there was also talk of the upcoming iPhone 12. In this context, well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expressed his opinion, according to which this year's smartphones from Apple should have even better cameras. These should be equipped with at least one seven-element lens, which is a significant step forward compared to the six-element wide-angle lenses of last year's models. According to Kuo, the 5,4-inch and 6,1-inch OLED display models should feature dual rear cameras, while the single 6,1-inch model should receive a triple rear camera with a ToF module and a seven-piece wide-angle lens.
