As the week draws to a close, we bring you a regular supply of Apple-related speculation and leaks. This time it will be the last batch of speculation related to iPhone 12 and HomePod mini. Although Apple has already presented the mentioned products, you can now compare for the sake of interest to what extent the estimates were correct - there was simply no room for speculation on another topic this week.

Leaked photos of the new iPhones

Almost a moment before the presentation of the new iPhones, leaker Evan Blass published their leaked photos. At this point, we already know that the information he provided was indeed based on truth. Blass said at the time that Apple will present the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone Pro Max, and the color variants in the published photos also agreed. At the Autumn Keynote, Evan Blass' claim was also confirmed, according to which the Pro models were to be equipped with a LiDAR scanner.

HomePod mini leak

Evan Blass was also responsible for another leak – it was about the HomePod mini, and in this case, too, the information from Blass was subsequently confirmed at the Keynote. Evan Blass immediately revealed photos of the new version of the Apple smart speaker on his Twitter. A few moments later, the appearance of the HomePod mini was actually confirmed at the Keynote - it didn't take long for the novelty to become the target of many internet jokes.

Macs with Apple Silicon

During this week's flurry of news about Keynote, iPhone 12 and HomePod mini, there was also a leak related to Apple Silicon processors. An alleged leak of the model numbers of yet-to-be-released Macs has appeared on the Internet - the data should come directly from the European Trade Commission (EEC). These are the markings A2147, A2158 and A2182, according to the available data, the macOS Big Sur operating system should be running on the computers marked in this way. The mentioned document also contains data on the not-yet-released notebooks marked A2337 and A2338 and desktop computers marked A2348, A2438 and A2439. Many analysts predicted the release of new Apple computers until next year, but the current leak suggests that we could expect them a little earlier.
