In our previous articles on speculation related to Apple, we also wrote about the possible delay of this year's autumn Keynote, among other things. Indeed, the available reports suggest that we could wait until October for the introduction of the new hardware. In addition, Apple has confirmed that it will start selling its iPhones this year a little later than usual. In addition to the new iPhones, we should also see new MacBooks this fall, and it is those that will be the subject of part of our roundup of speculations today.

Specifications of this year's MacBooks and MacBook Pros

Recently, a bag of leaks has literally been torn open regarding the upcoming MacBooks with Apple Silicon processors. Apple should introduce the aforementioned computers this October, including the 13-inch MacBook Pro and 12-inch MacBook. A leaker with the nickname Komiya_kj published information on his Twitter account that this year's 8-inch MacBook Pro should be equipped with two types of processors - users will have a choice between an Intel processor and an Apple Silicon processor. It will also be possible to choose a variant with 16GB, 32GB and 256GB of RAM and storage of 512GB, 1GB, 2TB, 4TB and 14TB. All of this year's MacBook Pros should reportedly be equipped with Touch Bar, Magic Keyboard, Touch ID, and they should also have narrower frames around the screen. As for the 8-inch MacBooks, they should be equipped with the Apple A16X chipset, and those interested will have a choice between 256GB and 512GB of RAM. Furthermore, these laptops should be equipped with SSDs with a capacity of 1GB, XNUMXGB and XNUMXTB, a keyboard with a butterfly mechanism and a USB-C port.

The look of the iPhone 12

Also this week, the iPhone 12 was one of the much-discussed topics. This time it was a leak, the publication of which is once again the fault of leaker Komiya. In the photo gallery below this paragraph, you can look at the diagrams of this year's models. The drawings confirm the arrival of the 6,1-inch iPhone 12 Pro and the 6,7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. Both models retain the cutout for the front camera, although some speculations initially talked about its absence. On the back, we can notice a square-arranged camera consisting of six modules. According to Komya, the camera lenses of this year's iPhones should be larger than those of the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, so further improvements in photo quality can be expected. The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max should also include a LiDAR scanner to improve work with augmented reality. The phones should be equipped with an A14 Bionic processor and have 5G connectivity.
