It might seem that the hype surrounding the release of new Apple hardware and software completely drowned out any speculation. The truth is that there were significantly fewer reports of this type this week, but something was still found. These were, for example, AirPods Studio, AirTags, and again there was talk of the release date of this year's iPhone models.

Release of iPhone 12

Although it has been rumored for some time that the release of this year's iPhones will be slightly delayed - even confirmed directly by Luca Maestri from Apple - many believed that their introduction would take place on September 15. At its Time Flies event, Apple introduced two Apple Watch models, the 8th generation iPad and the iPad Air 4, so we'll have to wait a while for the iPhones. According to available reports, the Cupertino company could present this year's smartphone models in October. Proponents of this theory refer to supply chains and other sources. But after the September conference, talk also started about September 30, because this date was highlighted during the presentation of one of the iPads. But this is a rather wild speculation, which is more of a conspiracy theory than anything else.

Leaked screenshot of AirPods Studio

It has been rumored for a long time that Apple could release an over-the-ear version of its AirPods. This week, an alleged leaked image of the aforementioned headphones appeared on the Internet. The publication of the leak is the fault of a leaker who goes by the nickname Fudge on Twitter. In the mentioned photo, we can see fairly massive headphones in black.

The top is covered with mesh, which Fudge claims was also used on the HomePod. Fudge also posted a video on his Twitter account of the alleged white version of these headphones - in this case, it should be the lightweight "Sport" variant. The AirPods Studio should have replaceable ear cups and a retro design. There is speculation that Apple could release them together with this year's iPhone models.

AirTags tags

Another of this week's leaks comes from Jon Prosser. He published details regarding the expected AirTags tracking tags, including alleged renders. On the channel on the YouTube network, a day before this year's September Apple conference, a video appeared in which Prosser explains what we can expect from the pendants and what they might look like. The alleged pendants have a round shape with the iconic bitten apple logo, and their size should not exceed the dimensions of the bottle cap. AirTags locator pendants are meant to make it easier to find various objects, they should be equipped with an Apple U11 chip and have Bluetooth connectivity. Objects equipped with these pendants can then be searched using the Find application.
