Parallels Desktop 12 released with support for macOS Sierra and the ability to play Overwatch on Mac (17/8)

Already the twelfth version of the program for parallel running of the Windows operating system in OS X (or macOS) mainly brings support for macOS Sierra and overall mirroring. But it will also include new capabilities, such as scheduling Windows backups and updates or setting specific behavior of Windows programs. Edge browser integration, Outlook, Office 365 and Xbox support should work better. It's also interesting that the developers behind Parallels have partnered with Blizzard, and Parallels Desktop 12 will offer "special support" for Overwatch.

Along with Parallels Desktop 12, the new Parallels Toolbox application was also introduced. This will appear as a drop-down menu in the macOS system tray offering better access to certain functions, such as taking screenshots, recording screen and audio, converting and downloading video, and locking the screen.

New users will be able to purchase Parallels Desktop 12 starting August 23 for $79,99 ($99,99 for an annual subscription for Business and Pro editions), users of the tenth and eleventh versions can upgrade to the new version now for $49,99.

Parallels Toolbox is available for $10 per year on its own, or as part of a Parallels Desktop 12 license.

Twitter introduced "Quality Filter" to hide insults (18/8)

Offensive and offensive posts are among the most common on Twitter. Twitter is now trying to eliminate at least those that reach the eyes of their recipients. A new filter will be added to the notification settings (which will be available directly from the "Notifications" tab with one click). This "Quality filter" works with information about the origin and behavior of accounts to identify those "low quality" posts. They will not be displayed not only in notifications, but also in other parts of Twitter.

After Hitman and Lara Croft comes Deus Ex GO

[su_youtube url=”https://youtu.be/4nYbaN0RLZs” width=”640″]

Already in June was announced, that the cyberpunk RPG Deus Ex will also be adapted into Square Enix's GO game series. Now the game is out. The demos present it, like Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO, as a turn-based logic game with very attractive audiovisual processing and elements specific to its predecessor. This means that the player, in the role of the main character, Adam Jensen, must deal with both living and robotic enemies across fifty futuristic levels using the abilities of his own body and its artificial enhancements. In addition, more levels will be added to the game daily.

Deus Ex GO is available in the App Store for 4,99 euros.
