All new apps and updates must be optimized for iOS 1 starting February 7st
Apple has published a new developer statement announcing that starting February 1, 2014, all new apps and updates heading to the App Store must be built in the latest version of Xcode 5 and optimized for iOS 7. Apps that don't meet this criteria will be mercilessly rejected . Optimizing for iOS 7 doesn't necessarily mean a redesign. It is important that the application code meets the criteria of the latest mobile operating system from Apple. According to reports from early December, iOS 7 is already installed on 74% of devices connected to the App Store.

After the release of the first part of the popular puzzle game Cut the Rope, two partial additions Cut the Rope: Experiments and Cut the Rope: Time Travel followed. But now comes the full-fledged second part of the game and brings a lot of new things. Developers from the game studio ZeptoLab kept all the attributes that helped the game to gain millions of fans around the world and added many new and unplayed ones.
In Cut the Rope 2, you definitely don't have to think long about the principle of the game. Once again, you are solving similar logic puzzles and once again your only task is to feed sweets to the voracious green hero Om Nom. It is necessary to get the candy into his mouth and, ideally, collect all 3 bonus stars. The individual obstacles are also similar to the first part, but the game environment has been changed. Everything feels much more spacious, and the big change is that Om Nom is no longer just a static figure waiting for candy. In Cut the Rope 2, you can get candies for the green creature, but it is also possible to do the opposite - get Om Nom for candies.
Om Nom's friends, the so-called Nommies, are also a new aspect of the game. These have different functions and tasks, but are always meant to help Om Nom successfully obtain the sweet reward. Cut the Rope 2 currently features 5 new worlds and a total of 120 new levels. However, it can be expected that worlds and levels will increase with future updates, just like the original game.

The original Tomb Raider now on iOS
Today, it is no longer unusual for old PC game blockbusters to reach mobile platforms. The latest addition to the imaginary category of ports of classic gaming hits is Tomb Rider from 1996. The game studio SQUARE ENIX is behind the port of the game and the result is a retro experience as it should be.
The main character is of course the famous gunslinger Lara Croft and the whole game is basically a treasure hunt. On the way to him, Lara has to kill a few monsters, overcome many obstacles and solve some puzzles. There has been no mention of a version for Android yet, and it is also unknown if other parts of the game are planned.

WriterPro
The authors of the popular writing application, iA Writer, have come three years after its launch with a new version that catapults the original concept into the professional sphere. In particular, Writer Pro brings a sophisticated system of individual stages of writing, where you first put ideas together, then expand and transform them into, for example, a short story. Perhaps the most interesting function is the highlighting of parts of speech, thanks to which you can easily find repeated words or generally play more with the syntax, unfortunately this function only works with English.
Writer Pro also supports most of the well-known features of Markdown editors, including editing views, a large selection of fonts, just about everything you'd want in a professional Markdown editor. The app was released simultaneously for iOS and Mac, each of which will cost $20.

Important update
Final Cut Pro X
A major update has arrived for Apple's professional editing application Final Cut Pro X. It brings support for the new Mac Pro and its two graphics cards and 4K output via Thunderbolt 2. It also adds audio mute controls for each channel, the ability to manually enter the retiming speed using numbers, and other improvements to retiming. Users can also separate the audio track from the video in each feed, edit them separately and add advanced effects to them through multicam. Keyframe management can also copy and paste. Also interesting is the API for sharing, where users can configure their own services, which are not directly supported by Apple.
Logic Pro X
Apple has released the first major update to its long-awaited Logic Pro X professional music app this year. The update brings three new drummers for the Drummer drum machine, each with their own style, as well as 11 new drum sequences in the Drum Kit Designer. Other improvements can be found in the Channel Equalizer and Linear Phase EQ plugins, which have a new interface and are also accessible via Smart Control. In addition, other minor improvements can be found in the update, mostly in terms of the graphical interface.
Infinity Blade III
The hugely popular action arcade Infinity Blade 3 has received a new expansion called Ausar Rising in the update. The expansion adds three new tasks and the legendary Dark Citadel (Dark Citadel), which players already know from the first part of the game. Two new locations and nine new enemies including a dragon have also been added.
New gameplay options have also been added. The player can play for his bare life in the Arena, and the "deathless quests" mode is also new. Chat is also a big novelty, thanks to which players can communicate with each other during the game without having to minimize the game and use another application. The game also includes 60 new items, 8 new abilities and more.
Some bugs were also fixed and the game was optimized for the new iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display and iPhone 5s. iOS 6 and iOS 7 are supported. The game is universal and currently costs €2,69 in the App Store.
Real Racing 3
The popular racing game Real Racing 3 also received a relatively important update. In the new version, the player can play online multiplayer in real time through the Game Center. The developers from EA have also added two new cars. The first of them is the McLaren P1, the second is the Lamborghini Veneno.

The worst application that I still have on the worst iOS (iOS7) is the App Store, so I wonder if Apple has done something about it. It works and I have the slowest application of all!
It is interesting that, for example, in the USA they do not have a problem with this at all. Even on a slow network, the App Store loads quickly. Apparently it has to do with the distance from the server.
So maybe that's why you don't know about this problem, but before iOS 6 it was fine even in CR. So the application is great new and terribly slow = it's great that they redesigned it.
