Tony Hawk May Return to Mobile Platforms (30/10)

Former pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, who is behind the video game of the same name, is set to expand to mobile platforms. He disclosed this news during an interview for CNBC. Speaking at the Dublin Web Summit, Hawk said: “In short, it's necessary to adapt to changes in the market and realize what platform people actually use to play games. Previously, Nintendo and PlayStation were dominant. Today, there are many more gaming devices and one must be familiar with the current technologies and their use. I've wanted to make a mobile game for a long time.”

Hawk believes that the best gaming solution for smartphones is the so-called freemium model. In such a model, it is possible to download the game for free and try the first few levels. However, if the player wants to continue playing, he has to pay.

List - a smart shopping list

In the App Store you can find a large number of applications for writing a shopping list, but the Czech Lísteček does it a little differently. You can easily enter any purchase items into the application, however, the strength of the application lies in their automatic sorting. The ticket has a database of stores and the layout of individual sections, so it can determine which store you are in based on your location and sort your shopping list accordingly. The app still has the old skeuomorphic look, although it's out now, according to the developers, it should change to the colors of iOS 7 sometime after the new year. The ticket itself is free, however the autosort feature is a paid feature charged monthly/yearly via IAP.
