Cut the Rope 2 will appear in the App Store before the end of the year (September 27)

If you have fallen under the spell of the successful puzzle game Cut the Rope over the past few years, you will surely be interested to know that the developers behind the title are preparing a sequel. Cut the Rope 2 has already been officially announced and we should expect it by the end of the year. The creators of the game from the ZeptoLab studio said in a press release that their new work completely reimagines the world of the popular protagonist named Om Nom.

Along with the announcement of the second installment of Cut the Rope, the developers also announced that various versions of their game have been downloaded on 400 million devices worldwide. According to calculations by the folks at ZeptoLab, players of their game cut an incredible 42 ropes per minute.

The company has not announced what operating system Cut the Rope 2 will debut on. However, it would be logical for the developers to prioritize iOS, since it is this platform that the game owes its popularity to. It is therefore likely that we will be able to cut the first ropes already during the Christmas holidays.

Transportation Tycoon

Developers from 31x in collaboration with Origin8 and original game developer Chris Sawyer managed to bring the legend of building strategies Transport Tycoon to the screens of iPhones and iPads. Unfortunately, Transport Tycoon for iOS is just a port of the original game with modified touch controls, nothing more, nothing less. This also applies to the graphics, which have practically not changed compared to the original, instead of the creators improving it at least to a more modern extent. At the time, the game was adapted for the mouse, where you had to click through the game, unfortunately when converted to touch, which only simulates mouse clicking, the gameplay is not the real deal. Fans of the original game will probably be thrilled to be able to play this gem of a game on their tablet, but on the other hand, the game could use simpler controls and better graphics than 1994.
