What's new in iOS 10 beta 5? (9/8)

The fifth trial version of iOS 10 arrived a week after the beta fourth. As expected, it brings fewer changes, which are also related to user interface modifications rather than features. The fifth beta has a new locking sound, the output icon in the form of headphones has been replaced by an icon with a triangle and sound waves, the unnecessary "Home" section has disappeared from Settings in iPhones, the date in the notification center section with widgets is displayed even when dragging from the home screen to the right, and it has become a little darker third-party widget backgrounds. The latest version of iOS 10 will also reprocess facial recognition data and should fix bugs in the interaction between iPhone 6 and 6s and Apple's Smart Battery Case accessory.

Google Chrome 53 will start blocking Flash (9/8)

In December last year with flash began to say goodbye to Adobe, in June this year Apple introduced Safari 10, which flash is trying to avoid as much as possible, and also Google has now revealed that from the next major version of the Chrome browser, flash lovers will have a hard time.

ROME: Total War will arrive on iPad in the fall (12.)

A legendary strategy game set in ancient Rome, ROME: Total War is an epic title that requires the player to use war strategy, diplomacy, deception and intrigue to win. Studio Feral Interactive plans to release this game for iPad this fall.

Players will get a complete port with all campaigns, eleven factions, thousands of battles in 3D and improved graphics using the high resolution capabilities of the iPad display.

The Czech game Brain Battle is a virtual equivalent of "Name, City, Animal, Thing"

Brain Battle is a new Czech knowledge iOS game, which the developers from Tylcham Studios describe as "asynchronous multiplayer in which the player must guess as many categories as possible for a given letter within a certain time." It is therefore a kind of digital form of the game "Name, City, Animal , thing". There are currently seven categories available (names, cities, animals, cars, actors, series, movies) and more will be added over time.

Brain Battle is available in Czech, English, French, German, etc. and is available in the App Store free with in-app payments.

Cloud Riders' iOS strategy excels even on a 5K iMac

Cloud Riders is a free-to-play strategy game based on building fortresses and then defending them against enemy raids in real time. So far, it has only made a name for itself on iOS, but its creators have decided to make it available on large Mac displays as well.

Although originally created for mobile devices, Cloud Raiders has enough rich graphics to stand out even on the 27-inch iMac with a 5K display, which resolution it now supports.

In addition to the multiplayer, it should also have an unusually well-crafted single player, in which the player is more involved in the action thanks to the possibility of directly shelling enemies with cannons on the walls.

Google Docs, Sheets and Slides finally support Split View on iPad

Eleven months have passed since the release of iOS 9 supporting true multitasking with a split display (Split View). That's how long it took Google to teach its office applications, Docs, Sheets and Slides, to use this feature. At the same time, updates with optimizations for iPad Pro were already released in March.

In addition to Split View support, the ability to insert images and page breaks has also been added, only in Google Docs.

The new version of Pokémon GO warns drivers that they should not play while behind the wheel

As of version 1.3, if a player with Pokémon GO turned on exceeds a certain movement speed, a dialog will pop up warning them that they are moving too fast and if they are driving, they should not play. Of course, the window includes an "I'm a passenger" button.

In addition, the developers of the Niantic studio are testing a new way of tracking Pokemon with a select group of players, and in connection with this, the "Nearby" section has been renamed "Sightings".

The update also fixes bugs in the graphics for team leaders Mystic, Insight, and Valor, as well as the ability to change your nickname. The battery saving mode is also back.
