More players on Mac (13/4)

Although the Mac is not exactly a platform that would be widely sought after by computer game players, the player base around Apple computers is growing positively. China surpasses the US in the number of downloaded applications from the App Store (April 14)

Tim Cook has been announcing for a long time that it is only a matter of time before China surpasses the US and becomes Apple's largest customer. According to analysts at App Annie, China has now taken a step towards confirming Cook's words, surpassing the United States in the number of apps downloaded from the App Store in the first quarter of this year. However, in a possibly more important statistic, China still lags behind. If we take into account the amount of money spent in the App Store, China, on the other hand, has fallen to 3rd place and is beaten by the United States and also by the much smaller Japan. Here China, with its 1,3 billion inhabitants, has a lot to catch up on.
