Apple released a new beta version yesterday iOS under the designation 9.3 and gave trial versions of new operating systems to other products as well. In addition to watchOS 2.2 and OS X 10.11.4, the tvOS update marked 9.2 also saw the light of day. The operating system featured in the new Apple TV definitely deserved some improvement, as its original version 9.0 lacked essential functions, and the decimal expansion 9.1 came mainly for the purpose of eliminating errors from the previous OS.

So tvOS 9.2 comes with several new features that are very useful. For example, this is the Bluetooth keyboard support, which paradoxically worked with the older version of Apple TV, but when the company introduced tvOS with the new type of Apple TV, this support was not included. This add-on will primarily serve those who like to write, but also for the segment of users who love games and productive applications. Another advantage of this update will clearly be support for creating folders. Thanks to this, users will be able to move their applications into folders for better clarity and organization. Just like it is on iPhones and iPads.

The user interface in the transition between applications has also been slightly changed. Instead of the horizontal scrolling that iOS 7 and 8 had, users will scroll in the same style as they do on iOS 9.

There will also be an exclusive version of the Podcasts app, which comes back to the platform in a noticeable improvement. However, it can be expected that the application with audio programs will be available to all owners of the new Apple TV before the official release of tvOS 9.2. The company already made it available in the beta version of tvOS 9.1.1.

The latest Apple TV will also include support for MapKit and the expansion of the language capabilities of the Siri assistant to include American Spanish and Canadian French. Czech, however, is again missing voice assistants from the list of supported languages.

Apple also announced news about App Analytics. Developers can now monitor how their applications are used not only on iOS, but also on the fourth generation Apple TV. It's interesting, if not debatable, why the company included this feature on the Apple TV before doing so on the Mac.

The tvOS 9.2 trial is available to anyone with a paid Apple Developer account. Apple TV owners will have to wait for the full version.
