Ondrej Holzman SOCIETY Troll Touch has been specializing in custom touch screens for Apple products for more than 20 years and is now adding two new products to its portfolio, a touch surface for the 27-inch Apple Cinema Display.
Users can choose from two variants. They either have the touchpad built directly into the monitor, replacing the original glass, or get a removable SlipCover that they can install themselves in a few minutes. Both variants are compatible with Mac and Windows.
And now to the prices. If you order a straight Apple Cinema Display 27″ with a built-in touchscreen from Troll Touch, you will pay $2 (approx. CZK 500 in conversion). However, you can also buy an apple monitor yourself, then you will pay 44 dollars (000 CZK) for the installation itself. SlipCovers, which are easier for users to install, are available for $1 (CZK 500).
Large touch surfaces are especially suitable for artists, painters and others. They can also be used, for example, in various stores, stands, as interactive whiteboards or information areas. Of course, there are no limits to the use.
However, Troll Touch does not only make touch screens for Cinema Display, but also for other Apple screens, on their website you will also find a touch modification for MacBook. Products from the Troll Touch workshop offer extraordinary accuracy, immediate response, custom display configurations. So far, you can only use multitouch on Windows. The warranty lasts one year, with the option of extending it to three years. And no such product violates Apple's hardware warranties.
