Apple right now Issued press release in which he revealed that he had already sold three million units of the new iPad mini and iPad 4 just three days after the start of sales.
"Customers around the world are loving the new iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad," said Tim Cook, chief executive of Apple. “We set a new record for first weekend sales and practically sold out iPad minis. We are working hard to meet the incredibly high demand.”
And so far only the Wi-Fi versions of the two new iPads are on sale. Cellular versions of the iPad mini and the fourth-generation iPad, i.e. those with the ability to connect to a mobile network, will arrive to the first customers only at the end of November. However, interest is also huge in the Wi-Fi version – for comparison, the iPad 3 had only half the numbers in the first weekend, 1,5 million of the Wi-Fi version were sold in March of this year.
However, it should be mentioned that now Apple does not differentiate between the large iPad and the iPad mini. So if we take into account the iPad 3 and 3G versions, then achieved reaching three million units sold in four days.
The demand for new iPads is huge, and Apple's stocks are getting thinner thanks to the fact that the iPad 4 and iPad mini went on sale on the first day, November 2, in 34 countries, including the Czech Republic. The iPad 3, on the other hand, reached only ten countries on the first day, and a week later it arrived in another 25 countries, however both versions – Wi-Fi and Cellular – were always available.
so that I should go and buy it too, 3G and retina only in the next version..
In the article it says at the end of November… not until the next version…
it was thought that I would buy the version with wifi now and when the next version will arrive on the market, which will probably also have retina, I will buy it in 3G :)
So yeah ;) I wouldn't count on the retina ;) then the big iPad would have to get an even higher resolution ;)... or at least the small iPad would get 1,5x bigger and not 2x bigger resolution... which again is nonsense because of the developers...
On the contrary, I would definitely count on the retina. I see no reason why the ipad mini couldn't have it, when the much smaller iphone has it... You just have to choose a reasonable resolution so that there is no problem with using already available applications.
Apple has left out the retina now, but only for the reason that it could put it in the next version and thus have some marketing pull and a reason for people to buy it..
But it is nonsense for him to get a retina with the resolution of the iPad 3/4 because it would have a better PPI than a large (expensive) iPad, which could be called an iPad Pro based on the focus... So if retina, then for everyone... i.e. a smaller resolution than the iPad 3/4 for iPad Mini or an even higher resolution for iPad 3/4 and the same for iPad Mini as the current iPad 3/4…
This is not good and will have a significant impact on an already bad economic crisis. At a time when people owe the banks trillions, apple churns out one product after another. What's even worse is that they keep the money in "cash". Which bank is probably behind this strangely fast-growing company:D
what kind of beef is that? :DD I haven't heard a bigger rant in a long time
omg what are you doing??? See how much other people are selling. And I certainly wouldn't say that Apple churns out one product after another. On the contrary, they "spew" them the least of all. Only samsung has a new line of phones every month.
And as for the holding of cash, I see no reason why he should let the money circulate. Apple, on the other hand, tries to maintain a financial reserve (which many other companies dream of), which is definitely good in times of crisis.
Beware, I mean it in a bad way towards Apple, I'm a sheep from a to z! It is meant for households…. Many people go into debt just to have an Apple device
