Apple right now Issued press release in which he revealed that he had already sold three million units of the new iPad mini and iPad 4 just three days after the start of sales.

"Customers around the world are loving the new iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad," said Tim Cook, chief executive of Apple. “We set a new record for first weekend sales and practically sold out iPad minis. We are working hard to meet the incredibly high demand.”

And so far only the Wi-Fi versions of the two new iPads are on sale. Cellular versions of the iPad mini and the fourth-generation iPad, i.e. those with the ability to connect to a mobile network, will arrive to the first customers only at the end of November. However, interest is also huge in the Wi-Fi version – for comparison, the iPad 3 had only half the numbers in the first weekend, 1,5 million of the Wi-Fi version were sold in March of this year.

However, it should be mentioned that now Apple does not differentiate between the large iPad and the iPad mini. So if we take into account the iPad 3 and 3G versions, then achieved reaching three million units sold in four days.

The demand for new iPads is huge, and Apple's stocks are getting thinner thanks to the fact that the iPad 4 and iPad mini went on sale on the first day, November 2, in 34 countries, including the Czech Republic. The iPad 3, on the other hand, reached only ten countries on the first day, and a week later it arrived in another 25 countries, however both versions – Wi-Fi and Cellular – were always available.
