There are several options for having the text translated. However, I came across an application on the Mac App Store that makes the whole procedure much easier and you will quickly like it. Translate works with Google translator, understands 55 languages and integrates with you across the entire system.

After installing the application, you have two options to have the selected text translated. Either start Translate, enter text in the left column and select the language you want to translate it into, or use a new item Translate in the context menu. This means that, for example, you mark a text in Safari, click on Translate, and an application with a translation will immediately pop up. As already mentioned, a total of 55 languages will be available, including Czech. Like Google's web service, Translate can recognize the text being translated, which can often come in handy.

Translate can do nothing more, nothing less. Actually, there is one more feature that should not be forgotten to mention. And that's simultaneous translation into several languages at once. So you can have the Czech text translated on the fly into up to 54 other languages that the application supports. You need an internet connection for Translate to work, but that's a given these days.

For less than 60 crowns, you will get a useful application in the dock, which, if you work with text, you will like and use more than once. It stands out for its simplicity and speed, and I can recommend it from my experience.
